Sustainability is an elastic term. How do you become the best sustainable hotel in Switzerland? Is it enough to change the towels every two days to be sustainable? We asked this provocative question to the director of the Guarda Val Hotel, Bettina Arpagaus.

The Limitless Experiences include, for example, a star hike with Andy Niedermann or a wildlife observation with local hunter Stefan Ziltener. The nature experiences are organised by activities manager Grace Henecka. Grace is half German, half British, studied in the UK and previously worked in the Canadian wilderness and New Zealand. She happily swapped the Great Walks for the untouched corners of Graubünden and now shares her love of adventure with the hotel guests of Guarda Val.
