Santa Lupita is a German-based company created in 2014 to bring the colorful and high-quality wealth of handmade fashion from Mexico to the rest of the world.

The brand creates contemporary and colorful, yet traditional uniqueness to wear for a liberal, cosmopolitan and fashion-conscious generation. As an alternative to mass production, it highlights the true value of handmade fashion.

All design and production takes place in Mexico and all inputs are sourced locally. Each piece is handmade by one artisan in her own home. In this way, rural artisans are integrated into the workforce without being forced to leave their communities: no centralised factories, no sweatshops!

Moreover, the brand also aims to help local artisans develop their one-of-a-kind craft by sharing with customers around world the unique and centuries-old hand weaving and embroidery tradition, that has been passed down from one Mexican generation to another for centuries and was almost forgotten.
