Volantis

Volantis was launched in 2015 and it is based both in Goa, India and in Milan, Italy. The creative journey began when husband and wife design duo Giada Alazraki & Jonny Lawrence met in Goa 10 years ago. Their actual Atelier in Goa located in the midst is a tropical jungle and it is their creative hub where the items are made by an amazing team of dedicated skilled tailors and seamstresses whom have been working for Volantis for years. While in Milan they have the communication and distribution base.

Volantis is known for their innovative hand block prints with elegant and original cuts perfected in their Atelier. They design all of their fabrics and work with the local community in various places in India supporting their ancient craft.

“The inspiration behind starting Volantis was to create a label that would empower women making them feel effortlessly beautiful, thinking of strenght and grace, arcane beauty, archetypes of divine femininity. We are driven by our lifestyle, by the artistic community we are part of and the nomadic global family we belong to."

A unique blend of sophisticated color palettes in bold and subtle geometry are mainstay markings of this label.
