Collection: Teod'amar
Teod'amar Venetian slippers and shoes are handmade in Venice, a city full of fascination and mystery, the home of Marco Polo and a historic port of call for precious goods arriving via the Silk Road, from reused, recycled, unique and precious fabrics. The fabric used to cover Teod'amar's Venetian shoes is selected from the boiseries of ancient libraries and Venetian palaces, and is meticulously handcraftet in a small atelier and in a few selected workshops in Friuli with the highest quality and workmanship. The soles are made from bicycle tyres and the uppers are made from a variety of recycled fabrics left over by the most exclusive interior designers, such as Rubelli, also from Venice, and are made as unique pieces according to tradition.
To this day, Friulane are handmade by Venetian master tailors with great skill, passion and patience, ensuring comfort and the highest quality. An enduring product that makes elegance and uniqueness its strong points, giving the wearer a feeling of freedom, loved by gondoliers for its non-slip properties, but worn equally by the Venetian aristocracy, conductors of the La Fenice theatre, poets and artists, as well as stars and models from all over the world, such as Amal Cloony or Kate Moss to stroll with them across the Rialto Bridge. An iconic shoe of timeless beauty that can be worn with any outfit.
