In Norse (Nordic) mythology NORNS are female creatures that rule the destiny of a child when it is born. They are not goddesses. They can be described as beings of time. They are the personifications of the past, the present, and the future. The three NORNS are usually represented as three maidens who spun or wove the fate of men. In other words they decide the life course and length for every single being. The NORNS were believed to live under the roots of the destiny tree Yggdrasill, everyday they pour over them the water from the Well of Urðr and on these roots they carve the destiny of each human.
The gods, alike humans, have their own root on the tree of life that NORNS carve their destinies too. However, even the gods cannot influence decisions of NORNS, therefore when asking for favors they should be addressed directly to the NORNS Urðr, Verðandi and Skuld.

For this hand-made soy-wax candle the fragrances mixed in the recipe are mangoes, cinnamon and oriental spices.
Mango leaves are used to adorn temples, the naturally sweet and rich flavour fruits are sacrificed to gods. In their magical rituals southern nations used aromatic mango fruits and wood for love magic, for revealing a person’s talents and abilities, as well as for protection from negative energetic influence.
Cinnamon composes a cozy atmosphere of self-confidence. Cinnamon creates an inspiring and creative mood, expands, warms, positively affects aura, boosts optimism, integrity of personality, confidence in one’s strength and self-esteem. The fragrance of cinnamon is a great measure for reducing self-pitying and clinging to unlucky past. It lights and brightens personality.
Oriental spices is a mixture of various herbs and spices that contains aromas of pepper, coriander, fennel, anise, and saffron. Imagine being flooded in a warm wave of colours, rising from below through your legs and body. First comes white, followed by light-blue light, yellow, red, orange, green and blue colours.

Maintenance and additional information
The first time you use the candle leave it to burn till the top part is melted all around the jar throat. That way the candle will not make a deep hole.
