Silaiwali’s bag charms are such lovely things: perfectly designed and handcrafted. Each charm is stitched by hand by women who have fled from Afghanistan to India. The work allows them to earn a living and form a new community.

70 women who up-cycle fabric scraps often generated by the fashion industry, creating these lovely accessories. The presence of coloured beads makes everything even prettier.
