This one-of-a-kind, sustainable, handcrafted collection is characterized by strongly feminine yet relaxed pieces for super chic easywear, perfectly embodying conscientious design.
THE DESIGNER BEHIND THE BRAND
We are so happy to introduce you to our new designer, Calla Haynes. Her creativity, authenticity and timeless designs resonate with the values of our brand in so many ways. Through her label, Haynes was a finalist in several design awards including the Grand Prix of Design of the City of Paris, the Dorchester Fashion Prize, and four nominations for the ANDAM Award.
THE BOUCHAROUITE PROJECT
The result is "The Boucharouite Project": initiatives that focus on two key themes of Sustainable Design - recycling textiles and supporting traditional craft. This includes a collection of rugs made in collaboration with female weavers, and a collection of Babouche slippers handmade in the souk of Marrakesh using upcycled vintage Berber rugs.
The collection was heralded by the fashion press including Vogue, Elle, Grazia, and Haynes was the subject of a profile in the New York Times.
